Rehabber Club Contractor Information Page
DISCLAIMER
The Rehabber Club Contractor List functions as a resource for those seeking the services of companies or individuals with experience in a variety of trades and specialties (known herein as Service Providers). Service Providers that are noted as Certified by the Rehabber Club at any level are professional members of the Rehabber Club. Their certification level is determined by our participation system outlined below. To register as a professional member, Service Providers must document some experience dealing with historic rehabilitation and apply. Membership status will not be granted to any individual with an active code violation, investigation, or stop work order at a property that they are associated with at the time of submitting their membership form.
Additional listed Service Providers, designated as either “apprentices” or "non-members," include, but are not limited to, recommendations provided by the community and contractors from other San Antonio lists.
A listing in the directory does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by the Rehabber Club, the City of San Antonio, nor its partner organizations, and Service Providers listed as "non-members" are not evaluated in any way. The Rehabber Club may choose to exclude or remove Service Providers from this list should the Rehabber Club receive sufficient negative feedback about their services, professional conduct, or quality of work. Exclusion or removal from the list may also occur if required licenses are revoked or violations are issued for any reason.
Users of the directory are urged to check references, review previous projects, and interview prospective service providers to determine if Service Provider qualifications match your needs.
By using this contractor list, you agree that the Rehabber Club, the City of San Antonio, and its partner organizations are not responsible for the accessibility or unavailability of any Service Providers or for your interactions and dealings with them, and you waive the right to bring or assert any claim against the Rehabber Club, the City of San Antonio, and its partner organizations relating to any interactions or dealings with any Service Providers and release the Rehabber Club and the City of San Antonio from any and all liability for or relating to any interactions or dealings with Service Providers.

CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION
Anyone can become a general member of the Rehabber Club, but to earn credits, a service provider must apply as a professional member. Professional members will be assigned the base tier to begin, called an Apprentice member. As noted above, apprentice status will not be granted to any individual with an active code violation, investigation, or stop work order at a property that they are associated with at the time of submitting their membership form.
Contractors and craftspeople who actively participate in Rehabber Club events at the Apprentice level will earn credits which, over time, will accumulate and place them at various levels of Rehabber Club. Over the course of each year, Rehabber Club will have a number of events, which offer credits. Credits may also be earned by documenting successful professional projects completed each year that meet OHP standards. The credits earned will go towards tier placement. OHP staff manages participation totals for all professional members. The tiers are as follows:
Apprentice: professional membership approved
Foreman: participation in at least one Rehabber Club event in one calendar year, either as an instructor, contractor, vendor, or volunteer; or documentation of at least one successful professional hands-on preservation project in one calendar year
Craftsman: participation in at least three Rehabber Club events in one calendar year, either as an instructor, contractor, vendor, or volunteer; or documentation of at least two successful professional hands-on preservation projects in one calendar year
Master Craftsman: participation in at least four Rehabber Club events in one calendar year, with a minimum of one event as an instructor or contractor; or documentation of at least four successful professional hands-on preservation projects in one calendar year
