The Home Repair Fair (formerly known as the Historic Homeowner Fair) is the Office of Historic Preservation’s annual FREE event that connects homeowners and renters with local professionals, services, and solutions for the care and maintenance of their homes.
On Saturday, May 17, residents stepped inside the iconic 1968 Confluence Theatre (Wood Courthouse) at Hemisfair and visited with exhibitors which include design professionals, craftspeople, and vendors.
The Home Repair Fair is great for:

Live demonstrations and learning up close how to repair
Family-friendly activities for attendees of all ages

New in 2025: Interactive Studios 🛠️
The Home Repair Fair featured multiple Interactive Studios held on the plaza. Attendees interacted with tradespeople leading Interactive Studios by watching them work up-close, asking questions about their technique, interacting with tools, and ultimately taking newfound knowledge back to their own homes. Thank you to our Studio Leads! They shared how to do drywall repair, rewire a lamp, sharpen tools, deglaze and reglaze a wood window, window anatomy, repair ropes and weights on windows, and more.
