May 19, 2018 | Porch Repair Certification Course
Register now for a special SApreservation Rehabber Club course focusing on the repair of a historic wood front porch on a 1920s Craftsman home! The course will be instructed by Guy Chipman Construction, L.P., a local expert in construction and historic preservation.
Topics to be covered include the replacement of beams, identification of wood boards that are most suitable for specific homes, installation of tongue and groove decking, and more.
Those participating in the course will receive a certificate in porch repair from the Rehabber Club. Individuals and contractors wishing to provide porch repair as a professional service will be added to the Rehabber Club Certified Contractors List!
Breakfast, coffee, water, lunch, a t-shirt, and safety gear are included in the registration fee, which is $65 per person.
