Continue to become a historic house specialist and preservationist by getting out into the community. Learn more about preservation projects and the approval process. San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) staff and instructors will show you the mission of OHP in action at the Historic and Design Review Commission hearing.
Note: The pre-requisite for this class is City Process & Resources.

Hybrid: In-person or Virtual, hosted on Zoom by SABOR. An email will go out the day before with the Zoom meeting access information. If you’d like to attend in person, we’ll meet at 1901 S Alamo.

Parking: There are two lots for the Development & Business Services Building at 1901 S Alamo: one to the west, and one across the street to the south.
Entering/Security: To enter the building, go to the double doors facing S Alamo Street. You’ll need to go through security to enter. Once you’re in, step out of line and walk to the right.
Room: The Historic and Design Review Commission is in the Board Room, but we will be checking in first in the Tobin Room, which is the right of the Board Room.
Please give yourself time to park and go through security.
